Hydrotechnical

Hydrotechnical Division of CSCE promotes advancing multidisciplinary research and professional practice in the field of water resources and hydrotechnical engineering from both practice and academia. Traditional hydraulic systems are now enhanced by computational methods, hydroinformatics, and climate-resilient designs. Innovation focuses on adapting long-standing principles to address challenges like climate change, urbanization, and ecosystem restoration. Advancement in hydrologic engineering is attributed by application of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques.
